Richard no1 is an absolute belter, love the tranquillity of no 4, are you sure about the geese as they look like Greylag geese.

Thank you Alan - you have got me on the geese... I am going to admit defeat immediately and relabel them as "greylag geese"... And then get myself a decent bird guide rather than guessing!

Nice set of images Richard, No 1 has the edge for me.

Number 1 for me and you can see why they call it the golden hour. Number 4 is second for its simplicity, tranquility and composition.

Great set, with number 4 just scraping by as my favorite, but I do very much like number 5 also

Richard, great set but #1 is truly lovely. Gorgeous light and glowering clouds.

                    Re: Scotland

Really like that set... you've done Scotland proud!

#1 then #4, but if it were mine, and if there was enough room to re-crop #4, I'd crop the bush on the right out of the shot! This would just leave the rocks in the lake, the lake and the background... simpler, better! But that's just me!

                    Well done. Mike.

All good, but the second is my pick, I love that time when it's not quite dark, and there is still sky detail. Great light & composition.

I rather like number three. I don't know what it is about it, but I keep going back to it.

Number one has beautiful light. I'd be tempted to crop off the bottom so the patch of green grass is gone. My eyes keep drifting to it, when really they should be on the façades of the buildings turned gold by the sun.
