    Brittish Wildfife Centre

    My first time at an open day. Great full and good to get very close to the animals


    Lots of photos take, mixture of 1DX and 70D

        Thank you both - it was a great day out, Muscat and I had a great time

        The 70D is proving to be s really good camera

          I assume you mean a photo day - we did one a couple of months ago and well worth it.

          I like the hedgehog, spot on, a good close up of the red squirrel but it looks either oversharpened or perhaps the effect of using a flash? and the harvest mouse needs a bit more depth of field to get the nose and tail sharper

            I deliberately took the pictures on short depth of field - it is how I like them.


            Flash used though out except for the hedgehog. I am taking photos as models for drawing so I am looking to see all the features.

            The background wasn't good so larger depth of field would have been a problem and I don't like editing the background blur it out.

                Thank you - the hedgehog was the hardest as it has the sun behind it. I can only guess that as it wasn't wearing sunglasses the sun was too much
