Avington Park near Winchester - Porsche Club meeting

Visited this house a month or so ago - discovered by accident it was hosting a meeting of the Hants Porsche club. 1DX + 24-70f2.8 L MKII used - I was travelling light! House was used by Charles II to meet his lady friends. The first image I had to take 2 shots as the 24mm wide angle wasn't enough to have the whole house in a single image - so I PS the missing end of the house in.

A very nice set. Does the first need a little rotation to the right or is it my eyes? great photos though the 1DX certainly performs well in low light.

Thanks Stan - only open 28 days a year - minimum needed to qualify for a grant - cream teas available as well!. Has a lake in front with heron and geese. Regards John

Cheers Tom - lots of very expensive cars there - from the latest models to the rarer older types. Didn't have enough time for the cars as we had a booked tour around the inside of the house. Regards John
