The Glass Lift in Birmingham Library (UK)

    Hi,
A shot looking upward towards the top floor of Birmingham Library with a blue sky peeping through the lattice in the skylight - the glass tube is the lift.
I think this is modernity at its best - although many others think its a load of rubbish - but then it would be a boring world if we were all the same !!
    Happy New Year

I like that a lot I would also consider losing the hatch thing on the right hand side

Excellent, a wonderful abstract feel it.

Re: The Glass Lift in Birmingham Library (UK)

Thanks guys - if you are ever in Birmingham it is well worth a visit. It must be one of the few public buildings in the UK that actually like photographers and encourage you to photograph it ( inside and out). You can use tripods without permission as long as you do not obstruct people or become a nuisance to the running of the place.
                      Cheers

I brilliant abstract shot, I particularly like the tonal colours & juts that hint of blue.
