    Spurn point

    Few shots from spurn point nature reserve.
    Didn't want to post these till the photo challenge had finished as i had a photo in the beach comp

    I've stayed at the last pub along the road to the head a couple of time (the last time just earlier this month)

    It's a great place to visit and take shots of the run down sea defences as well a as birds if the lens is long enough.

      Not sure how that pub stays open must be all the bird watchers,and your right about needing a long lens as the birds seem to feed at low tide in the mud,I think the place needs a bit of love and care as its getting more run down every time i go(not the pub the reserve) or maybe thats its appeal !!

            Just add a few details -taken with 7D,first photo used Tamron Di II 10-24mm-all the rest with Canon EF 24-105 L,these were my first photos with the Canon lens so its good to get off with a positive start !!.

              Great shots I will have to try get over there myself.
              There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!
