    Birmingham German Xmas Market.

Just had my annual visit to the market with all the colourful stuff on the stalls -

Wooden characters from the Nutcracker ballet -

    Colourful tea-light holders -

    Cheerful snowmen -

    Salt-crystal table lamps -

All 7D + 24-105L using just the lights on the stalls.

If you do go you can relax with mulled wine, German beers, half-metre-long frankfurter sausages etc.

    Cheers, Chris.

                Re: Birmingham German Xmas Market.

Thanks for all the kind comments. It is well worth a visit, with lots of colour, "buzz", interesting foods and drink - but, not a market for bargains!
The food and drink stalls are also very photogenic and colourful, but I visited after attending the Blood Donor Centre on New Street - the site of the market. Was there for a blood platelet donation, involving being tubed up to a posh machine for 1.5 hours. This time I had an adverse reaction to the anti-coagulant one gets filled with and almost passed out....... So, sadly, queasiness meant I couldn't face close proximity to the sight and smell of the food stalls.... Next year......
                Cheers, Chris.
