    love the second image Stan

I cant put finger on it but something just doesn't look right on 1/3 - the last one almost looks like you shot it through glass

The last one, particularly, looks like it's been corrected for verticals but without the appropriate vertical proportions being restored. The arches look far too flat...

I used HDR Efex Pro 2 for the processing as it seemed to give a more natural look than Photomatix and same processing used on the second shot

just looked at one of the unprocessed images and the arches look similar to the end result - verticals only needed around 5 degrees correction and from what I remember the arches weren't particularly tall. Also realised that the shot is the interior of another church - I didn't take any interior shots of this one as it was quite dark and uninteresting

I've been finding 5 rather than 3 offers a much more realistic HDR image - plus gives better scope when processing to push further ....As I like to do

Re: Hidden Dorset V - Mappower

I am mostly using the 3 shots from the in camera HDR and if I want 5, then am taking the -1 down to -2 and the +1 to +2 and saving those as separate DNG's but using that with photomatix made very little difference to the final outcome so probably need to actually shoot 5 frames

Nice set and really like the 2nd. Could it be a tad brighter?
