Not keen on the first one if I'm honest - feels a bit overcooked in PP.

Second is a nice reminder that sharpness isn't everything...

Third one is my favourite, a lovely golden hue to the grasses, just enough DOF and the unnatural angle of the skyline adds a certain drama to what could otherwise have been good but more standard shot - excellent.

Agree with Nigel about the second image

The first was a near miss - I could see what you wanted but the OOF area to the left of the cut end is too dominant and distracts the eye. The second and third are both quite different to each other but, in their own ways, quite superb

          Cheers,

                Re: Chobham Common

Thanks guys for the comments and feedback, all very useful and interesting.

On the first one I used the clarity and contrast to highlight the grain, might have gone to far.
The second was the one I was most pleased with, I really wanted to capture the bokeh and a burst of the evening sun.
The last one was a stroke of luck if I'm honest, I held the camera down very low and took the shot without looking through viewfinder or on the screen. Maybe I need to do more images that way!
