    Sky Garden in the Walkie Talkie building

    A number of members have shown their images of 20 Fenchurch Street (aka the 'Walkie Talkie' building) and the Sky Garden up on the 35th floor. I visited on Monday, here are a couple of standard images looking up at the outside and one from the Sky Bar inside looking across the Thames at the Shard.
    Well worth a visit if you are passing.

    impressive work Alex - I'd love to go to the top if not for the fact that I would be on all fours and my nails would be digging into the floor to stop it moving around

              Ian, Dave, James, Tony, thanks for your comments. Yes, the views are indeed great, but as others have found, the glass gets in the way (literally) of decent images. My circular polarising filter did a pretty good job of minimising reflections, but they are still there, hence none have made the cut for this thread.
              And thanks indeed for the positive comments on the last one, which is not my normal image as I generally do all I can to avoid having people in my shots and I almost didn't take it once I realised I couldn't get central. But it has turned out to be my favourite of the day. I should perhaps pre-judge a little less.

                Antoeknee, thanks. When we arrived it was pretty grey, as in the first image, but after a long lunch in the Fenchurch restaurant it had thankfully cleared into a lovely day.

                        I particularly like the first two - refreshingly different.

                        I did something similar to your last shot but a much wider view and shot three quarters of the way down the staircase
