    Hi Muscat,

Lovely shots, I especially like the first Meercat and the second Butterfly, (not a clue what it is)
I might have a drive down there, looks like a "Target Rich Environment"

No Grandkids to use as an excuse though!!!!

    Well Done, Paul

Nice series although your butterflies look to me to be out of focus. Could just be my old eyes of course

Like the Meercats. The butterflies appear to be a bit out of focus as Glenn said. To me it is the wing tips that are a bit OOF.

              Hi Muscat

I too like the meercats and agree Longleat is a great place to visit.

With speeds of 1/20 and 1/30 used for the butterfly images, am I right in thinking you used a tripod? or a monopod? or are your hands rock steady?

                Re: Friday at Longleat

Thanks for the comments, I also love the litte Meercats they are such fun animals.

The butterfly images were both hand held with grandchildren and hundreds of other visitors a tripod was not an option. The tip of the wing of the first shot is slightly OOF but I think on the second one it is the sharpening and posting as it is crisp on my home monitor but do see what you are saying from these posts.

As for visiting Longleat Tesco vouchers work wonders
