Bla Bheinn (Blaven)

Blaven is one of the Munros on the Isle of Skye and on the last day of our recent trip we were intending to walk to the summit.

However the weather had different ideas and this was what it looked like as we started the walk

Unfortunately the cloud got worse and the summit was shrouded (not uncommon) so we aborted the walk. I noticed a nice stream in a small gully so we clambered down.

Took a few shots but overcast weather meant they didn't really work. Have had a play with some, but the lack of decent light really shows

Drove down to Elgol just a few minutes away and it was completely different

Sometimes you just have to admit defeat.

Thanks, don't know if I'm more disappointed in the images or not being able to get to the summit.
