    The lights in London

A couple from my trip to see the lights last weekend... With a bus theme...

    First a bauble

Then a trip down Oxford Street

And finally the angels directing the traffic so that the buses can travel at warp speed down Regent Street

I would love your comments and feedback since I know they are not the usual fare...

They make a great set Richard. The last one not really my taste but admire the execution

I think 2 and 3 are very, very good, esp 2.

Ooh Richard are those last 2 that whizzy ICM stuff?
                I really like them.
This is a first for me giving a thumbs up to ICM stuff. They could be used commercially- very modern and edgy.
Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......

Thank you John! I must confess to being surprised at the response to 2 here, and on Flickr and FB. I thought it would be more marmite!!!

I am honoured Bo! They are not actually ICM. No 2 is three images and No 3 is four images taken with a very short interval between but fast enough to get out of the road (usually advisable when a bus is coming straight at you - especially in London!!!) Nevertheless, even though not ICM the approach is not far adrift in combining them.

The first, despite being well conceived and executed, is pretty standard fare that has been seen before. The second and third, however, are exceptional and utilise a technique that I'll certainly be trying myself
There are also some rather nice additional ones to be seen on Flickr.

                      Cheers,
                      John

Really nice shots. No. 2 is a bit much for me, I prefer no. 3.

Fabulous! 2 and 3 are superb!!!
I think I'd crop the first one considerably to make the subject more impacting.
I'm inspired by the second two to try myself
                            Thanks for posting these
