    Euston Station - Disused Tunnels

I went on another Hidden London tour courtesy of the London Transport Museum last Sunday, this time to Euston Station.
This tour was little different as it a specific photography tour, this meant the group was smaller and we had plenty of time at each section in pairs to photograph.
The guides said more photography tours might be added for other locations, if so I'll definitely be trying to get on them.

Here are few images from the visit...

      It is a great location.
I'm hoping they'll make more disused stations available for tours.
I know the key issue is access, for public access they need two exits for emergencies and some locations don't have this.
The Hidden London tours have all been interesting.

Thanks very much, I had a great time and really enjoyed it which i think helps a lot.
Keep an eye on the website, new dates will be announced in the next few months I believe.

amazing to see such vast spaces and all that "old" engineering, the cast iron sections in pic 1 are really evocative one can imagine the work and workmen involved.

                Nice set and well lit.

That's part of a ventilation shaft built in the 60's as part of the Victoria line works.
They built it to the same specification as the the train tunnels and used the same equipment.
                    It is all very impressive.

                    Thanks very much Tom.
It is great to see places that to some extent have been untouched for many years.
