    Insects from Savill Gardens

A few of the insects n bugs from our visit to Savill Gardens on Saturday. Handheld as usual with the mk4 and the 100mm 2.8 combo.

    #1 - 1/800, f/5, iso 100.

    #2 - 1/800, f/3.2, iso 100.

    #3 - 1/100, f/8, iso 200.

    #4 - 1/100, f/10, iso 400.

#5 - 1/800, f/3.2, iso 100. Wouldn't be a trip to the garden for me without at least one shot of my favourite 'paper rose'

Critique as always is gratefully received - good or bad, it's how we learn [thumbs up]

    .DAVID.

    Great set David.
#3 is not your normal cricket shot, I like it.
#4 well that is definately a close-up of a dragonfly, sharp, sharp, sharp.

Really like 2&3. The close up dragonfly shows off how good the lens is but - for me - I prefer the uncropped one.
Aren't you glad I dithered about buying your MkIV !

Looks like you had a cracking day at Savill Gardens with these images and the ones of the flowers.

If you feel energetic you can wander through the Gardens up to Smiths Lawn and take in a High Goal Polo Match during the summer.
