    Speckled Bush Cricket

    Spotted this tiny little one in the garden today - the body is only around 6mm in length but as you can see the antenna are many times as long

    Super detail Stan and the OOF background really makes the image stand out (or should I say, good use of DoF).

              thanks for looking guys

              You did well to spot it ........Never seen one of those before
              it was originally on the japanese maple so although small the vibrant green stood out against the red of the maple. We had a few last year but on an ornamental grass which is next to the maple, so must live in the proximity
