Speckled Bush Cricket

Spotted this one, much bigger that one i posted the other week and probably a male rather than female, in the garden on an ornamental grass. He was in quite a difficult position to shoot so carefully moved him on to a better blade of grass but the background was still too messy. So having moved other offending blades out of the way I stuck my sheet of blue plastic on the fence as a backgrouns

Hard to believe this but I don't think I had ever seen one of these until this morning when I came home and noticed one on the front door, and now you go and post an image very nice by the way

I have only seen them once before and that was on the same plant in the garden last year
