    Common Darter

My local dog walking spot is whick with Dragon flies at the moment. The Southern Hawkers were not posing but this chap was really giving me the evil eye for invading his turf.

Well composed but like your weevil the borders are competing with the subject and spoil the image

Stan thanks for your thoughts but I would hope you can see past the border. I put them on to try and make image theft that little bit more difficult. I, my father and brother have all had images stolen recently. As this is not a competition I will include them in forum posts.

daft question but why do you think putting a border will stop that? anyone could copy then crop. I think if you post images online you have to except the fact they will / could get copied

i cant see what difference a border would make either and so long as you are only uploading small low res images to flickr, it shouldnt be a problem anyway. When i process my images, once i have saved the full size, I always then do a resize to 900 px on the longest side using a PS action, partly for uploading to flickr for forum use but also as a more manageable size to display in the photo albums on my tablet and phone
