    Hello sai the spider to the flys

    Whilst my wife was packing for her guide cam I escaped into the back garden to see what was available for me to photograph,the following made themselves available.

    All photos taken with a 50D and the Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS USM macro lens

      Much more fun than helping the wife pack and you have much better results. Close call, but I think I like number 2 the best.

        Thanks guys. What did fascinate me was the amount the fly actually bent its wings whilst cleaning them.

            Not so keen on the first but like the detail of the other 3 and I don't want to know what the fly in the second shot was standing on....

              Thanks for the comments and opinions. If the fly had been standing on anything nasty I would not have photographed it, what it is actually standing on is a seed pod from a Broom bush
