    Ladybird on Acorn

I saw this foreigner on an acorn that was forming whilst walking around the old Oak tree

      Nice shot.

Is that one of the dreaded harlequin ladybirds?

Nice, though I think the brown acorn thingy above the main subject competes with the ladybird for the viewers attention.
Perhaps you got another shot with the ladybird a bit more isolated, but still showing the acorn, if you think it's important ?

Just my subjective two pence worth, don't take it to heart :-)

              Hi Millie,

Thanks for the observations, I tend to agree with you having looked at the image again, unfortunately I don't have another shot with the ladybird more in isolation, I had to gently prod it to get it to move into this position and then it got fed up and hid between the acorns.

As for taking these coments to heart the whole reason I post he pictures here is to get good and constructive advice and opinion I see this as a way to improve so please do keep the coments coming
