    not an easy subject to photograph, you did well and got the DoF just right which isn't that easy with the 100mm

    I'm surprised you got that speed at f8, it must have been a very bright day

      must have been very - the caterpillars were shot on a bright day @1/500 but I needed ISO 800 for that

        Very nice Dave.

        As we all know getting the focus correct with macro is tricky but you seem to have it spot on.
        (A slight breeze or even just breathing in and out can throw the focusing)

            Thank you folks, yes it was a very bright sunny day and the sun was shining right on it so I gave it a slight darken as it was very bright.
