Hornet Moth ( From the hard drive archives )

What a fantastic insect , was amazed to see it , and it was so very much like a real Hornet . This got printed in my local paper about five years back when I took it . Never seen anything like it before , and have not since !

Indeed , I wonder how many have been splattered needlessly , it even flew and sounded like a Hornet , I like photographing Hornets , I was very lucky I think to get this .

Thanks for all the kind comments .
