One of my first attempts at macro picture watched this guy for a while and got a few shots also did not see these two till i processed this picture on PC. Very pleased with these for starters.

Hi Tony, images are a little small in size after clicking on thumbnail.
They look interesting but too small to really comment.

The first 2 look to be sharper than the second set, can you repost them as larger images?

No problem here are the first 2 full size when clicked on hope you like them. Looking forward to buying a canon 100mm macro lens and getting a bit more in depth with these shots.

I am afraid none of them seem sharp, probably not a lot to do with your technique but more the lens ? Assume you were using an ordinary lens with a "macro" facility

Yes just using standard 18 55 lens. How ever bought some close up lens now so will put some of my new pictures up for all to look and comment. thanks again learning all the time.
