The fungi season is upon us and Dee and I went to the New Forest for a couple of hours this afternoon to see what was about. Quite productive but having packed away and walking back to the car we spotted this unusually shaped one, its about 1" tall, buried in the vegitation. It had started to rain but an opportunity too good to miss, so having cleared the rubbish away, cutting my fingers in two places along the way, we got a few grab shots, hand held, no tripod or off camera flash as we had been using. This has not turned out too bad bearing in mind its 1/60, f 8,and at ISO 1600 another demonstration that the 7D does perform well at higher ISO's
