My First go at Macro

This is a Macro shot i have done today with my 5D II and New 100mm f2.8 L IS Macro, any tips or comments would be greatly appreciated as this is my first attempt, shot hand held.

I seem to have missed my focus a little !!! If you look at the full size original just didnt get the centre that spot on.

A lovely image with a great camera and lens.
I also own this lens.
I find the IS very useful but still prefer to use a tripod on easier subjects.

Still learning macro myself.

The only thing I know is to select a focus point. But have to be honest sometimes I press buttons and hope for the best.
