    Otter

I spent a while on Sunday morning in the company of our local Otter.
Stealth was the order of the day and I was soaked lying in the cold, wet grassy riverbank but it was so worth it.
At times he was too close to focus on and in the end I just lay there and enjoyed his antics.
Oh how we suffer for our art :-)
Theres another 3 images on my Flickr photostream if you care to look.

    Re: Otter

Hi Mike, respect to you for getting a wild one - I tend to stick to captive at the moment - never even seen a wild one!

Great he's local, but you never know when and where he'll be, I guess!

    Thanks for posting, Mike.

What a cracking shot, presses all the right buttons for me, also like 'Otter 1' on your flickr set.

Brilliant reward for patience and stealth. That's close! Green with envy. Well done.

Me thinks that these were well worth laying in damp grass for.
