Not been around for a week due to being on hols in Menorca with no internet access - lots of stuff from the trip but in the meantime some more from BWC. This is one of a number of mice that were in the adder enclosure, thought originally they may have been introduced for "food" but they were completely wild and found their own way in

Now thats a brave soul if ever I saw one. Number two to me looks a tad too bright - feel free to ignore, I'm on my laptop and while its a good screen, angle is everything.

I went to the BWC at the weekend, and the mice hadn't lasted too long! At least the Adders were happy with their meal! This probably explains why the Adders didn't come out at all whilst I was there... they were full!

at one point there were two adders in the grass along the nearside of the enclosure and between them both was a mouse...one of the snakes struck out and the mouse was off like a shot - whether he was got at that point i dont know
