    Meerkats at Marwell

    The meerkats were posing quite nicely at Marwell on Sunday against natural backgrounds


    All shot with 7D and 70-200 f2.8 L IS

        Do I notice a cloning repeat?

        Shot number 3, between the Meerkat's left ear, close to the top of the ragged log end.

          Oooh, they've really done you proud Stan and if I may paraphrase ................ not Simples!
          they were the only animals co operating, the leopards, and apes were asleep inside and the cheetahs were up against the fence

          Shot number 3, between the Meerkat's left ear, close to the top of the ragged log end.
          Oops - there were a couple of bright highlights in that area which needed cloning and looks like i used too big a brush - sorted

              The enclosure at Marwell is quite new, large and raised a bit above ground level and divided into 2 pits. They are usually in the lower one which although you can get good shots of the meerkats the backgrounds are rubbish, so we were lucky that they were in the upper one yesterday which were against a much better backfrop
