Hi All,

Was in the Caravan and our Cocker Spaniel happened to be looking through the window when I saw him stiffen up and concentrate, the pic's below are of what he had spotted, it was pouring with rain so I didn't stay out long!!

I prefer No2 as it has a more natural look to it, I feel No1 has had a bit to much editing, or is it my monitor lol

Nice images Paul, I too prefer #2 and feel the composition is slightly better and the colours more natural..

Thanks Guys for the replies and tips, I think I warmed it up a bit too much, here is the shot virtually as it came from the camera, about 10% cropped off and just a fraction of contrast added, don't think much else has changed.

I like the second shot, it still looks the most natural coloured. Your edit could do with being just a little warmer

I too like the second image, as the first has what seems to be unnatural colour to it, especially when compared to your repost at #5 Paul.

I went overboard with the processing on the first one definitely, the second posting of the first shot is "as shot" in regard to the WB.

Not very often you get chance to photo a Hedgehog!!!! I got quite close and it totally ignored me.
