This was a quite difficult akward shot they are very active and don't stay still for long. Watching its behaviour it would take its catch under water come onto a grass bank and eat its lunch on on an old felled tree for a bout 5 secs then repeat the sequence time and time again. Pre focussed on the felled tree and got a few seconds to take a head shot complete with fish. Read somewhere recently they can be quite dangerous and can give you a nasty bite .

Great shot. There are otters round here but I have only seen their paw prints as they are very wary of people.
