    Another good day - rain was light.

    The BWC is an amazing place and to think that these shots are taken with a 24 - 105mm.

    I can understand why you have chosen vignettes and having made that decision, experiment with different versions, but I am not sure they work as well as they could with wildlife. I have used very gentle ones to concentrate the viewers attention on the main subject, but they were very subtle.

    Red squirrels and Otters have to be in the top three of people's wish list for British Wildlife. Add in a Barn Owl and you have the full set.

      add a kingfisher to the list.

          Love that first red shot BUT 'please' lose the vignette - it worked great in the 30's but I think we have come on a little since then ;-)

            I like the old stile photos - but I dont remember colour in the 30's:)

                I have many photos from the 30's. My first photos are from 1958 when of course it was monochrome. I didnt start colour until the late 70s. I still take many monochrome photos as it is a way to avoid colour distracting from the shapes
