    Wyre Forest Fallow Deer

During many walks in the Wyre Forest in Worcestershire we have seen many Fallow Deer but usually only from a distance. Yesterday our luck changed We spotted five stags a short way off our path. And for almost 10 minutes we watched them and they watched us! Apparently stags are much less nervous than does.

              Hi Dave,
Great shots ! I live next to the Wyre Forest and have spent many happy hours walking trails that pass through it. I have seen wild deer but never been close enough to get a good set of shots - so well done you !

Thanks for all your comments. I am hoping that these shots weren't just a one off and the deer go back to playing hide and seek with me

                    Wow, well done Dave.

A couple of weeks ago when driving round hunting for snow shots, I thought I'd caught sight of a small deer in woodland close to the road. I reversed up and by the time I'd thought about lifting my camera off the seat, the deer was away!
