Who you looking at!!

This was taken last August whilst on safari in Rwanda and Kenya. The crop is dimensioned for inclusion into a photobook. I'd be interested to know what you think and any suggestions on improving the image

I love it how it is.

Possibly pull out a little colour and detail in the eyes.

Love the expression, I agree if you can pull more detail out of the eyes that would really enhance his face, also IMHO if you toned down the top right hand corner that would also help focus on his charming face.

Having said all the above I do envy you the chance to have seen and taken such shots, well done.

Thanks Mazzie and Alan. the image will be going into a photobook along with a lot of others from the safari. Unfortuneately my wall space is already full up with other safari shots. I think i'll have to recycle some of the older shots.

Hard to critique that, its so good already.
If the crop still works this well, perhaps straighten the horizon which shows in the top right hand corner, if not lose it altogether?
