Unfortunately it is very noisy and not sharp - what were your settings - high ISO and slow shutter

positive - somehow you are one of the few able to upload an image

It was taken a couple years ago, 300D with a 70-300 and shot at distance hand held. 1/60; f/9; 400iso. Basically P mode. The slightest movement and he was gone. Now I have suitable gear I have not seen one at the feeder.

I didn't realise that there was a problem posting images. I set all my pictures to 800 pixels on the longest way and using the save for web or devices in Photoshop to a web posting folder, then these are uploaded to Photo bucket.
