    Grass Snake Swimming

While testing out the new lens at Upton Warren this Grass Snake was spotted having a swim. It's the first time I have ever seen one in the water.

I've never seen a Grass Snake, let alone one swimming. Great capture.

I have seen a few Grass Snakes before and knew that they were associated with water but always saw them quite a distance from known water sources, to see one actually swimming was quite a treat.

Thank you AndyA,Count David,Stan,Stephen,Tom and Brent for looking.
