                Not my favourite creatures Stan but very nice sharp pics. I hope you are,by hand,placing them in the right areas for Dee to take the photos.

                  I hope you are,by hand,placing them in the right areas for Dee to take the photos.
                  they are wild Nat so no chance of handling them although for some there were grasses growing in front so we took turns in carefully holding the grass out of the way so we could shoot

                    Good for your Stan. On a personal basis I dislike such creatures as they remind me of "replica" type "crocodiles"- more so when one leapt out of the water in Darwin (OZ) and nearly got my right hand. If I find it, I will post it just for you.

                      now that's scary but there is a slight difference in size between a croc and the lizard, not to mention the teeth
