    He/she's cute. You must have been about six inches away though because there seems to be little to no depth of field - the tail seems out of focus

      Some good detail and nice to see one right out in the open

      You must have been about six inches away
      had to be at least 3 metres away with a 400 f5.6

        Well 3.5m but who's counting

          had to shoot wide open andy ,really poor light surprised it came out this good at iso 1250 and i still only got 1/320 sec ,so again surprised it was sharp as its hand held

            That's not too shabby for hand held with a 400. I can get away with 1/400 but 1/320 is pretty impressive
