        Antoeknee, loved your birds and love these too. Pin sharp. Also some of the more candids on Flickr - the reds on the camera are great.

          great photos

          are these cropped much? you seem very close and was expecting you to be using a 600 lens not just a 300

            you seem very close and was expecting you to be using a 600 lens not just a 300
            photo day or public day you can get very close - usually i need no more than my 70-200 with the 1.4x

                      Most shots more or less full frame with minor crops to improve compostion. The 2 fox shots are cropped, the first is fairly heavy probably about 60% and second just trim of top to improve composition.

                      We were in the fox enclosure and only about 8-10 feet away.

                      When photographing the otters (not yet processed), again in enclosure, we were sat on grass with legs stretched out in front and the otters were nudging our feet to be fed.

                        Thanks for all comments. Enjoyed the visit and the 5D3 plus 300 was great to use.
