    Juvenile White Rhino



    Taken at Madikwe in the southern Kalahari. We were on an afternoon game drive when we saw a white rhino in the distance. We went to investigate and found she had a youngster with her, who proceeded to mock charge our vehicle before eventually going back to mum. We spent some time with them as the sun set. No real photo opportunities but a privilege to be in their company.

    1DX with 300mm f2.8 L IS II lens + 1.4 III converter.
