    Seals at Donna Nook

On Sunday, me, my girlfriend and her family visited Donna Nook to see the seals with their pups. It was pretty amazing to see to say the least, especially when it's a bumped year for the site. Now, I'm no wildlife photographer and it was actually quite challenging to get a picture, with the brown seals, brown mud, overcast sky, distance from subjects, speed of subjects moving from position to position and missing that vital moment, the crowds... and jealousy of people with their 1DX's and 400mm+ lenses.

Anyway, here's a couple of pictures I got.

super set ,well done .never ever be jealous of people with 1dx's and mega lenses ,lots of them have all the gear and no idea you can get exactly the same results with better field craft and learning how to use your present camera and developing your P/P skills

OOOOO that's me, that's me (you think I'm kidding lol)

Superb set, last one really carries the 'awww' factor, every year we say were going to nip up to the 'nook' but as of yet haven't made it, must try harder!!!

Agree with the other posts, a very nice set of images. Also agree with kit. It's not what you have but how you use it.

Thank you all very much, as I wouldn't see this as my strong point, I really appreciate the feedback.

Keep trying to get down to donna nook but not being able, though it might be a bit late now?

Whilst I was there a member of staff was saying that they expect the pups to begin leaving around mid-December.

Kyle, you should be pleased with those images. Nice variation of three very different aspects and all perfectly sharp. Yet another place to put on my 'must do' list; the website states 1700 pups this year, blimey!
