    eurasian water shrew

    a new one for me again with the 1.4 tc fitted ,so a whopping 840mm .never seen one of these before apparently they have a venomous saliva .,and i can assure you there bloody fast for there 4 inch size .this lens seems to have brought me good karma must be quiet a few new species in the time i have had it

      unfortunately its a part and parcel as i,m learning tom ,you get the extra focal length but the depth of field is extremely narrow ,focus is on the rear end so head is soft

            As Stan said it is a record, I and probably most others on the forum have never seen one. I assume they are very elusive so you have done well to capture this.
