    Colchester - flying visit

Couple random shots from Colchester Zoo this morning. 1DX, Canon 200-400 with built in extender.

    Just Chillin!

    #1 1/500, f/4, iso 3200, 371mm in the rafters of a information hut.,

    #2 1/500, f/5.6, iso 800, 560mm too hot - can't be bothered lol

#3 1/500, f/4.5, iso 400, 200mm shooting through the thick viewing glass doesn't always work, but think I got away with it this time.

#4 1/500, f/4.5, iso 640, 200mm usually through into the pool just doesn't work - even the Penguin is shocked that I even tried!

    Thanks for looking!

    .DAVID.

The snow leopard is the best of the bunch David. We often try and get shots of the red panda at Marwell but the little b***r is always up the tree

Thank you one and all - the 200-400 certainly isn't for anyone trying not to draw attention to themselves - probably the same with the big Sigma as well, gets embarrassing sometimes lol

Thanks Stan (and I wont tell anyone you meant to type 'Amur' Leopard ;-) ) I believe 99% of the time red pandas actually refuse to move - they are secret cats really

I've only got the 100-400 so no where near 200-400 or sigma but you get a little self consensus sometimes around others - lens envy with other shooters!
