    Grass Snake

We went to Warnham this morning and whilst watching a kingfisher ( not quite as close as those at Blashford), spotted a grass snake swimming across the lake. Pleased to get the shot with a tongue flick

Nice and sharp as usual. I am sure the snake can come to the hide, if it was interesing enough!

funny you should mention that but on at least two occasions in the spring they found an adder curled up in the corner of one of the hides at Blashford Lakes
