    Breakfast in Masai Mara

    Early morning game drives are a good time to catch predators with their spoils from the previous night , these were taken not long after sunrise. The lions had killed two Wildebeest in the same location and had very full bellies. The noise of them squabbling for position on the kill was amazing .

    Fantastic images - I understand it is normally the females who do all the hard work and that is backed up in your images here. Not much left for the heyenas to get into.

      Thanks Scott , yes the females do most of the hunting , the males usually get involved if they are taking down bigger prey such as the cape buffalo
