    Female Kudu

One of the first images taken on my recent South African trip. Taken at the St. Lucia Wetlands Park. Most antelope have large ears for detecting danger but the female kudu probably has the nicest.

    EOS 1DX, 300mm f2.8 L IS II lens, 1.4 III converter, handheld.

    Thanks for looking.

good detail in the subject Brian although I reckon there is more detail in the eye to be brought out. Don't think you can do it with lightroom but using photoshop you just select the eyes and use a levels layer to enhance. Although most wont be bothered for me the background is rather distracting

Thanks Stan. The background is what she eats, so you could say it's an environmental shot.
