    Another Red

Tufts and tail on this one. I have mentioned before that you can get very close to them on Brownsea and the exif on this one shows a distance of just 2.5 metres

Excellent, as usual. What’s that on the squirrels wrist? Are they tagged?

could be a bit of nut but also might be from the woodland floor when they bury their nuts

Excellent shot Stan. Do you take hazelnuts with you to bait them with?

I believe he does, Brian. Also superglue to keep 'em in the picture. Seems to work.............
Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......

                    thanks guys

Do you take hazelnuts with you to bait them with
yes and costs me a small fortune but well worth it although this shot was during the second session of the day after lunch and there was a guy, really annoyingly using shelled peanuts which look awful in photos. Luckily he was burying them in cracks of the logs so mostly they didn't show. There is an advantage though, with the hazelnuts most of the time the squirrel will grab one and immediately take it away and bury it for later, whereas the peanuts they eat there and then. This shot was taken just after he had finished eating and was looking to see if there were any more to be had
