Young Red Deer Stag ( wild )

This young stag was feeding in the long grass on Cannock Chase this morning which enabled me to creep quite close although these are still quite a large crop. However he soon caught sight , sound or smell of me and after a quick stare down the lens he made a hasty get away.

Well taken Steve, though I may have adjusted the exposure as it looks slightly over exposed, possibly due to the camera compensating for the dark background.

Maybe just a smidge over exposed , but the bottom one is a cracking photo . Try and wait till they have their heads down before inching closer , movement is the biggest give away .
