              Yes, but he is looking more towards my direction than away. He was around 30 metres distant so I can't say for sure if I had caught his attention

                Sorry, doesn't work at all and the fox is clearly looking of to the left. I'd have deleted it.

                  Unless I am misunderstanding, it appears you are saying that images only work if the subject is looking towards you rather than to the side. If so then the majority of birds and animals posted on the forum should have been delated

                    It should be clear that there are two clauses in my comment. The first is "doesn't work at all" and the second "the fox is clearly looking of to the left"

                    If the shot had worked, the fact the fox wasn't looking at you wouldn't matter. IMHO, as a shot, it doesn't work so the fact the fox isn't looking at you is immaterial. Does that help?

                      I obviously got it wrong then, however just making a bland statement "doesnt work at all " is no help to anyone without an explanation as to why you dont think it works
