    Even more Hares

    Hi All,

Hope you aren't getting sick of seeing Brown Hares, they do look a tad similar! Went out again this afternoon, once again it wasn't great light but was lucky to find quite a few chasing around. Again I was lucky in that they came very close to me as stood in front of the Cars open door parked in a gateway.

                Re: Even more Hares

Fantastic "whisker definition" always a good indicator of image quality.
Looking at the EXIF data, it does show the value of a wide aperture prime telephoto, as you have been able to shoot almost or actually wide open, additionally allowing the use of a fairly low ISO. While high ISO can be necessary at times, it can never produce the same quality and resolution as 800 or less. Zooms may be more flexible, but you never get quite the same quality, plus the narrower aperture inevitably mean pushing the ISO higher than ideal. Quality does come at a price, though, I guess.
