    Fallow from my 400D

Took these in 2009 on my first digital SLR , a 400D . It`s taken me an age to go through and ( sort of ) get them organised . Thought it worth sharing them , it was / is a very capable camera I feel .

    Re: Fallow from my 400D

I've still got my 450D which I use from time to time, still works just as it did in its day, I thought it was the bee's knees at the time. More megapixels and "features" aren't everything.
What lens were you using for these?
    EOS 6D, 6D Mk II, 80D, 70D, 100D, 200D, M50, M100. Canon 10-18, 18 - 55, 55 - 250 IS STM lenses, Canon 16 - 35 mm F4L, 35 mm EF-S macro, 50 mm F1.8 STM, 60 mm EF-S macro, MPE-65 macro, 85 mm F1.8, 200 mm F2.8 L II, M 15 - 45 mm, M 22mm F2, M 32mm F1.4. Sigma 24 - 35 F2 Art, 135 mm F1.8 Art, 17 - 50 F2.8 DC, 105 mm OS macro, 100 - 400 C, 150 - 600 C.

        Re: Fallow from my 400D

        Thanks Richard , Paul .
Rich , I was using the Canon 400 f5.6 prime , normally shooting wide open , it`s a very sharp lens , and very likely on a mono-pod back then . The only real let down on the 400D for me was the top iso of 1600 , I started missing opportunities where I couldn`t achieve high enough shutter speeds for my style of photography . I upgraded to the 7D , which to be honest wasn`t very helpfull really , as I found the images were not great at 1600 and above anyway , though I have delved into noise removing software , thanks to Jeff the black Fox which has helped improve them .

Lovely... you rich so and so, I only had the 350, it went all funny and started getting what looked like computer multicoloured ribbon wiring ghosting on the images. Still have it though. I too like the last one.

What a super set...I had a 400D before moving on to the 50D....I still go back to images from that era ...they exceed expectations every time.

Thanks Brian , I agree . My processing skills have improved some what also , so think I am also getting more out of them now than I did then .
