    A deer friend in the orchard

    No sooner had I posted my Goldie on a feeder image and moaned that the feeder was all I had been able to test my new lens/extender combo on, than SWMBO returned from her botanoical painting group and announced that we had deer in the orchard again. I crept out and.....

        The deer that visit us seem to be more bold than bolt..... they were still there 20 minutes later!

              Nice shots John - hope there was no damage, we get five coming in every morning, they started on the sprouts last week

                Thanks Trev - they have grazed on whatever was available throughout the year - we had to cover the beetroot etc. to deter them.
